PSP Firmware

News has come in (ok, its a little old now) that Sony have released the Firmware update 2.6 (American) (or Firmware update 2.6 (UK)).

This new firmware update adds support for WMA music files, RSS feeds, and the ability to play copy protected video data from content providers using the memory stick.

Obviosuly the Firmware update will tighten up a few security loopholes in the PSP software, but the added functionality of this latest update makes it a worthwhile thing to do.
