Dirty PSP
No, I’m not talking about PSP Porn again. Or indeed any kind of dirty films you might like to watch on your PSP. I’m talking about the PSP always being covered in fingerprints and dirty smudges.
It doesn’t seem to matter what I do, as soon as I pick the PSP up it gets covered in fingerprints and smudges. People have commented that I spend more time cleaning the thing than using it, and sometimes it feels like they’re right.
On average I probably wipe the device down 3 or 4 times a session, partly because extended use of the PSP seems to make the device harder to hold. I’ve even tried washing my hands before picking up the PSP to see if this lessened the fingerprint problem, thinking that may maybe grease and dirt on my hands was being transferred to the PSP. But no, it doesn’t seem to make any difference. The plastics the PSP is made from just seems to attract smudged fingerprint marks.
Thankfully, the cloth for cleaning the PSP is pretty good at removing the offending marks. Similar in size to the cloth you would use to clean your glasses, the PSP cleaning cloth seems to be made of a very fine silk like material that glides over the PSP and removes dirt without damaging the device. If you haven’t come across this cleaning cloth before, you can get them from most shops selling PSP accessories.
