PSP in Yahoo top 10

Yahoo have published their top ten searches for 2005, and the Sony PSP has hit the list at number 6 in the overall list for producst searches, number 3 in the electronics product list.

This shows how popular the PSP has become, and beating the Xbox360 into 7th place must have put a smile on the guys at Sony’s faces. The PSP was beaten by the iPod, which doesn’t come as a huge surprise, given the amount of advertising Apple have been doing, and the fact that the PSP wasn’t released worldwide until the last quarter 2005.

It will be interesting to see if it places at all in the top 10 next year, or if another portable device will take over.
