PSP Wireless Connection and Web Browsing
The PSP (running firmware 2.6) has the capability of surfing the internet using a wireless internet connection. To actually get a connection working, you will either need to be in a location that support wi-fi connections, or be at home and using a wireless router for you broadband connection. Dial-up users will have to install a broadband connection and a wireless router before they can connect to the internet using their PSP’s inbuilt browser hen they are at home.
PSP Online
Assuming you have a wireless router, getting your PSP connected to the web is straight forward, as the PSP scans for available wi-fi signals. When found, you will need to enter your WEP key, assuming you are running your network with at least the basic security features. If you are not running any security, and your PSP can connect to your router and the outside world without entering any security details, I strongly suggest you research the dangers of running an open network.
PSP Browser
Once you begin browsing, the interface is fairly intuitive, and Sony thoughtfully added some shortcuts for entering the www. and .com / .co.uk elements of web addresses.
I have found that the browser itself is fairly slow at rendering pages, but it is useable. There are a number of sites formatted specifically for viewing on the PSP, I would suggest you look for these using a PC before surfing using the PSP, as it will save time and effort, and typing in search terms is much easier using a standard qwerty keyboard raher than the PSP’s built in text entry software.

Don’t know where to store and how to open local web pages on the PSP. Would make a cheap off-line content delivery system that the PSP lacks (aside from homebrew and the SDK).
And why does the RSS reader only support audio podcasts – doh, that is NOT compliant RSS 2.0 support as advertised.
I am thinking of creating my own RSS reader web site for the PSP browser.
