Midway has issued a press release detailing some of its top titles that will be coming to the PSP in the near future.

“In 2006, Midway will begin our strong support of the PSP handheld market by bringing some of our top franchises to the system,” said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. “All of these titles are perfect for gaming on the go, whether it’s a pick-up game of NBA Ballers: Rebound, a quick race in RUSH or a fight to the death in Mortal Kombat: Unchained.”

The statement does not mention any other titles at this time, but I would imagine if the cross over to the PSP proves successful with these titles then more will follow.

Theres a few new PSP game releases this week (27th Feb 2006).

• ATV Unleashed
• Street Supremacy
• Generation of Chaos

PSPUpdates has details of the Edepot game, Agenaworld.

this game is similar in concept to homeworld, and is based around the 9 planets of the solar system. While graphically the game is quite stunning, it unpacks to over 100mb, which is a hefty amount of Memory Stick Duo to give up to one homebrew game.

Looking at some of the comments about the game would indicate its not going to appeal to everyone, but if you are a fan of homeworld then it may be worth taking a look.
