PSone Production ends

Sony has finally stopped production of the PSone, after 11 years of making the home console.

Sony have confirmed that a PSone emualtor will be available for the PSP, along with an extensive games catalogue being made available for download (at a cost) online.

Perhaps this is a move by Sony to answer the huge number of people who are using homebrew emulators on their PSP, by providing an official mechansim to play the old PSone games. We know there are several people trying to bring out a PSone emulator from the homebrew scene, will they manage to get one out before Sony?
