PSP PCEngine Emulator B3

It seems like hardly a week goes by without a new emulator for the Sony PSP coming to my attention. This week its the turn of a PCEngine/Turbografx/Wonderswan emulator called b3.

This emulator is still very much in development, but the current version works on my PSP running firmware 2.6, the only real issue I’ve found is that the emualtor will not exit cleanly and requires a soft reset of the PSP when you’ve finished playing.

If you haven’t heard of the PCEngine/Turbografx emulator before, its a Japanese console featuring an enhanced 6502 processor and a custom 16-bit graphics processor. It will play some pretty old games such as 1943, R-Type, Shinobi etc.

The Wonderswan is a Japanese handheld game console released by Bandai in 1999. The emulator for the Wonderswan system is still slow and buggy, so I would avoid trying to play too many games on it.
