PSP Caprice32 Emulator
DCEmu has some details of the release of Caprice32, an Amstrad CPC home computer emulator.
Originally written by Ulrich Doewich for the Windows and Linux platforms, this emulator covers the CPC464, CPC664, and CPC6128 Amstrad models.
This emulator has now been successfully ported to the PSP.
“It has been developed on linux for Firmware 2.5 using the great GTA eloader (0.97) from Fanjota.org, but it should work properly on other firmwares.”
This port of the Caprice32 emulator is great news, its another solid emulator that allows owners of the original Amstrad games to play while on the move using Sony’s fantasitic handheld.
The screen shots on the DCEmu thread make this look like a must-try emulator. The PSP is building up a very comprehensive library of legacy system emulators, and these are getting more professional and complete each day.
