PSP Firmware 2.7 Hidden Secrets

Cyanide Speaks (great name) has details on whats lurking in the Firmware 2.7 update that you may have inadvertantley just installed on your PSP. (Why did you do that again?)

It looks like there are a few things in that update that Sony are planning to roll out in the future, including USB Camera and USB GPS devices.

While most of its supposition, and until Sony announce firm plans we are just guessing, it certainly looks likes the PSP will be getting some new bolt-on hardware to complement its current multimedia capabilities.

  2. There is no downgrader for any PSP running firmware hight than version 2.0.

    If you are on 2.7, you are stuck with it at the moment, until someone manages to work out a way of getting around the system security.

    Its unlikely you will ever be able to downgrade. Best hope is that someone finds an exploit that allows you to use homebrew on version 2.7

  3. der is a way my friend as done it 2 his psp and his is 2.71. and every thing work and so do game as well. mim getting it done on wednesday.
