PSP Game LocoRoco and Firmware 2.7

GamingBits have got some news on the LocoRoco demo thats to be lanuched on the 25th April on the Japanese LocoRoco Website.

Most interestingly, GamingBits is saying that for the demo to work on your PSP you will require Firmware version 2.7, which will be released alongside the LocoRoco demo.

This is the first time I’ve seen of any reference to a firmware version 2.7, and I’ve yet to see any details of the firmware version being released tomorrow.

The US Sony site has no details of the demo or the supposed firmware update.

Update, it seems the internet is awash with details of this Japanese only firmware 2.7 update, supposedly including Macromedia Flash 6 for the Internet Browser, ability to save audio from RSS channels, and playback of AAC files.

NOTE: If you are asking a PSP related question, please state your firmware version, as this will usually impact on the response you get. Please also state whether you are an experienced PSP owner or new to the PSP scene, as this will determine the level of detail in any answer I may provide. Thanks, Dave.
