PSP Radio v0.38.9 Static on FW 2.6
I mentioned that PSP Radio wasn’t working on PSP’s using firmware 2.6 a few days ago, and I’m pleased to say that it is now a false statement and PSP Radio is working on 2.6.
The latest static release of PSP Radio, version 0.38.9, will now work on your PSP. You do have to ensure that the eLoader auto-loads rather than a normal GTA save-game, which means that its best installed on a differnet memory stick duo. When the software loads up, you need to press L + R + start which will bring up a contextual menu which you can use to turn wi-fi on/off.
The only issue is that when you come to exit the PSP Radio software it hangs, but its a small price to play for being able to stream shoutcast radio streams to your PSP.
I’ve just downloaded the latest shoutcast database and I’m currently listening to some bizarre Danish Techno dance station. This software is a must-have for music fans. Grab it from the QJ download site.
NOTE: The software does lock up sometimes, this release isn’t an ‘official release’ and therefore has a few issues, but I would imagine its being continually worked on and stability issues should be resolved in time.

With this release however, I have found nothing on my ‘not working’ list that has been fixed. This includes caSTaway, the Atari ST emulator (I had my fingers crossed, but no luck), and PSPRadio, which still hangs the moment it loads up. Update PSPRadio now works. Details Here [...]
