PSP to get Elder Scrolls Game

The guys over at Modojo has some great news for all you Elder Scrolls fans, the franchise is touted to become available on the PSP sometime around November.

It sounds like the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game is being developed for the PS3, with a version being created for the PSP alongside it.

“Both titles are slated with a tentative November 2006 release date, which would imply that the PS3 version could be a launch title.”

Sounds good to me….

Update: Looks like Bethesda are on the defensive with this rumour :

Their official reply: “At present we have no announced plans to bring Oblivion to any platforms other than PC or Xbox 360.”

Which of course means very little, as not having any announced plans and actually not having any plans at all are two different matters. I would imagine there are some internal political battles going on in regards to which platforms this game is going to be released on first, and which other platforms are to get it.
