PSP Sandisk 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo

Well, on Sunday I got so fed up with the constant need to swap files on and off my Sony 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo that I decided to splah out on a new 4GB Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo.

I got mine from MobyMemory.com for an not unreasonable £88, which included a USB card reader, which eliminates the need to plug the PSP into the PC, something which seems to eat the PSP’s battery power.

The Memory Stick Pro Duo also came with a convertor back to a Memory Stick Duo, not something I need, but always useful to have around just in case.

I did hanker after a 4GB Ultra card, but decided the extra cost wasn’t really worthwhile, after all, I’m hoping with a 4GB card the need to constantly swap content onto the Memory Stick Pro Duo will be vastly reduced.

Why did I need a 4GB card? Well, apart from the fair amount of homebrew applications and games, I use the PSP to listen to music, and I can easily get through 1GB of music in a working day, so 4GB should last me most of the week without the need to swap out music of the stick.
