PSP TA-082 Motherboard Downgrader

It looks like Ookm has done some tremendous work on developing a downgrader for PSP owners stuck with the currently un-downgradable TA-082 equipped PSP’s.

While still being very much in development, the software will hopefully become stable enough to allow anyone with a TA-082 PSP to downgrade from firmware 2.5 to 1.5.

Note that at the moment, the downgrade process is limited to original TA-082 PSP’s running factory 2.5 firmware. It also requires that you use the software to dump the PSP Data and send it to Ookm for tweaking, which will then allow the PSP to be downgraded.

For those of you keen to get your PSP downgraded to firmware 1.5 but are unable to do so because of the motherbaord version, I would suggest you keep an eye on Ookm’s site for further developments.
