Dlays for PSP Games Ghost Recon and Vegas
Computer and Video Games have got some release date details on two upcoming games for the PSP that I have been looking forward to getting my hands on.
Both Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and Rainbow Six Vegas, have been delayed.
GRAW 2, originally due for a March 30 release, has been shoved back two months and is now slated for a June release, along with the PC version which has suffered the same delay.
The May release date for Rainbow Six Vega now stands at ’spring’ which isn’t so bad, but the vagueness of this concerns us. And Driver 76 has also been pushed back to June to allow for extra development time.
While I understand the developers desires to make sure these games are as good as possible, and if that means holding them back from release to tweak and perfect then fine, but there seems to be a constant stream of delays at the moment for PSP games.
European fans of Matel Gear Solid have now got to wait until May to get their hands on the Portable Ops game, that has been out in Japan and the USA for quite a while. Although the European version is going to have extra characters and missions, its still disappointing that those of is this part of the world are forced to wait for games even after they are released elsewhere in the world.
Lets hope these games live upto expectations when they do finally hit the PSP later in the year, and these delays prove to have been worthwhile.
