CircaDome custom PSP XMB Icons by Innercy

Its not often I feel compelled to write about custom XMB icons on here that are not my own creation, but Innercy over at QJ.net has created what I believe are the best custom PSP XMB icons to date.

These icons are called CircaDome, and are hand crafted from scratch, meaning they are totally original. While the XMB icon scene has been a little stagnant of late, with very little in the way of originality being seen, these icons are a breath of fresh air.

Here are some shots of the icons in question (Original White and Extended Black) :

As you can see, these icons are stunning to look at. I’ve installed the white version and I’m using the black wallpaper from below:

The only problem I have with these icons is the font used under the main icons is a little small, but its a minor niggle.

The release thread on QJ.net has the original source as well as links to the downloads for the white and extended black versions.

You can also grab the White Original and Black extended versions from here:

Bg thanks to Innercy for putting the time and effort into creating these XMB icons for everyone to use.

  3. The files linked above are for 3.30OE (from memory) and not the newer custom firmware versions (3.71M33+).

Try Circacor or Applecor for firmware 3.71M33, or do a search for the ptf versions.

  5. Love the icons, black and white backgrounds. You wouldn’t happen to have larger versions for a PC wallpaper would you?

  7. Neutron – check out deviantart.com, most of the PSP wallpapers I see are generated from content on there, so you might get lucky…

NOTE: If you are asking a PSP related question, please state your firmware version, as this will usually impact on the response you get. Please also state whether you are an experienced PSP owner or new to the PSP scene, as this will determine the level of detail in any answer I may provide. Thanks, Dave.
