PSP Firmware 4.00 Released
After quite a long time, Sony have finally released a new firmware version for the PSP, version 4.0.
Normally a full version change indicates some great new multimedia additions to the PSP’s arsenal, but this time its a little disappointing. The firmware 4.00 release adds the ability to search the internet without launching the PSP’s built in web browser, and allows you to control the playback speed of films using the up and down buttons. And thats about it.
If you were expecting more, you’ll be disappointed. Of course, this release is only pertinent to those of you using a standard PSP running the official PSP firmware, those of you using an OE/M33 firmware release will have to wait and see if this latest Sony release gets converted.
Not sure I’d be over the moon about this firmware release if I was running a standard firmware, its a little short on features for what is a complete version step change.

Mike, intersting, considering this site has been running for over 2 and a half years, and this design is based on my own concept – see Scoobyphotos for my original implementation of the layout. The site you mention looks like its been based on a similar style to mine, not the other way round.
