Datel Action Replay uses homebrew code

Datel have launched a new PSP product called the Datel Action Replay Max, aimed at gamers who like a little helping hand when it comes to getting through the toughest challenges.

Choose from Action Replay’s huge range of specially created powersaves for extra weapons, ammo, power and energy. Only Action Replay can unlock the hidden secrets that game programmers don’t want you to discover. Pack includes: 64MB Memory Stick, USB link cable and a powersaves CD with hundreds of games supported.

What Datel fails to mention is the the underlying code for the Action Replay uses the Pandora forged IPL block and Booster’s IPL SDK. In other words Datel have taken the work of the homebrew community and turned it into an inferior version of CWCheat. And all without acknowledging the original creators, and then charging you for it.
