DS Lite gets MP3 Capability

News over at Reg.Hardware is that nintendo is releasing an MP3 player for the DS lite on December 8th. This comes as an application on a cartridge, and requires the DS lite owner to purchase a separate memory card to load up with music.

It also requires a memory card reader for a PC/Mac, as there is no way to access the memory card via the DS lite itself to load up your music selection.

So this new DS lite MP3 player isn’t going to set the world alight with its ease of use, but it is another string to its bow, and another reason why parents might consider purchasing the much cheaper DS lite rather than the PSP this Christmas.

Mad WMD style PC Case

Totally off-topic for this Sony PSP website, but I came across this article about a custom built PC case resembling a WMD cannister, similar to the sort of thing terrorists throw around on shows like 24.

Its a great article, with lots of photos of the build as it progresses through each stage. Well worth a look.

PSP and Xbox360 together

I’ve just come across this aticle on Joystiq giving instructions on how to connect a PSP to the Microsoft Xbox360.

Not that I own an Xbox360, but if I did, I might be tempted to try it out…
