PSP Backgrounds - Plain and Simple

I’ve had some requests in for wallpapers for the Sony PSP that aren’t photos, and are more like the simple backgrounds I made here.

While these type of backgrounds look quite simple to put together, it takes a while to get everything lined up and the backgrounds looking professional enough to publish. These wallpapers have again been created in Photoshop, using the cross shape to give some substance to the background.

I’m happy to admit I’m really pleased with the way these have turned out, I hope you like them :

And here are some without the 45degree stripes :

Feedback welcome.

  1. I love your psp back grounds :-)

  2. Lareina

How do you download these on the psp? My family’s got 2 but neither my sister or know how. Can u help?

(PS. I like them and you have done a good job)

  3. Lareina, if the wallpaper is like the above, click on it to enlarge it, then right-click and ’save-as’.

Copy the saved file onto your PSP vi a USB connection, and place it into the photos directory on your memory stick.

Disconnect your PSP from your PC and browse to the photos menu. Select the photo you want to use as a background and press the triangle button, you can then select to use it as a wallpaper (its one of the options you can navigate to).

  4. Ur psp backgrounds give me such hard!

Lareina, heres a much easier way: go to this website on your psp and click X on the picture to make it big, put the cursor over the picture, press triangle, go to file, go to “save image as,” then, if the bottom thing says /picture/ then click okay and there you go! Much quicker and you dont need any extra cords! (assuming you have a wireless internet conection at your house or a coffee shop or something)
