PSP XMB Theme - Buuf Two
Ok, I know you are probably sick of seeing new XMB themes on here (especially as they are only really any use to 3.03OE users), but I decided to make another one for my PSP, and thought I’d publish it on here as well.
My general rule of thumb with creating XMB themes/icon sets is to firstly pick a set of icons that are good, secondly create something I want to use myself. Alot of the icon sets I see getting published seem to be created for the sake of creating them, not because the author actually wants to use them.
Anyway, this theme is another Buuf derived set, which is one of the best looking sets of icons out there, and best of all its published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License, which means they can be used so long as the original author is acknowledged. Download 3.30OE and 3.40OE version
As always, you need to connect your PSP via the recovery menu and copy the rco files into the vsh/resource directory on flash0. Copy the pgf file into the font directory if you want to use the font. Wallpapers can be copied into any directory under the photos folder on your memory stick (accessed via a normal non-recovery mode usb connection).
This does require you flash files to your PSP, so make sure you know what you are doing, and backup your originals. I cannot be held responsible if you brick your PSP (however unlikely that is).

hey dave i was just wondering if you could add a time stamp to your posts? i was just on your site on my psp and come to my computer and theres a new theme
also just wondering if we could send you screen shots of our current themes and have you post them? that would be awesome! ty for the great site and the great themes

Chris, good idea, I’ll look into getting the posts timestamped.
And if you send in screenshots of your XMB I’ll certainly find somewhere on here to put them up!

I tried installing all files as mentiond in the readme.txt but when i now restart my PSP screen stays black….
back to recovery …. to bad skin not working 3.4EO

i had the icons done only as i have the black 32 theme.i have this prob of the icon not showing under the nework section.the browser icon etc…so wats the prob????help me!and im running on 3.40 oe-a btw.
